The UK’s leading men’s grooming brand, Lynx has launched a brand-new shower range. Understanding that every guy’s skin is different, Lynx has designed a Plus Series range to care for different skin types and needs from tattooed skin, to dry and sensitive.
In a first for the brand, Lynx has created Lynx Ink, a body wash specifically aimed to keep tattooed skin hydrated and soothed whilst removing dead skin cells. This will help with preventing fading and keeping tattoos looking bright.
The brand-new grooming essential for tattooed guys contains Glycerine, Vitamin E and Olive Oil. The shower range has aromatic notes of Garden Mint, Jasmine and Cedarwood giving it a light and fresh scent.
Caroline Gregory, Brand Director at LYNX (Unilever), told Revealing Britain: “Tattoos always tell a story and they play a big role in peoples’ lives, but so far there hasn’t been a lot you can do to keep your ink fresh. We wanted to create a product to keep those amazing stories alive and looking bright”.
The new range also includes a body wash specifically designed to care for sensitive skin. Lynx Seriously Sensitive is dermatologically tested, designed to soothe and is packed with calming ingredients. It effectively cleans whilst caring for skin.
To complete the full range, Lynx has developed Hydrate Mate, which has been specially formulated to combat dry skin, of which 25 per cent of guys in the UK have.
The body wash contains Birch extract and sea minerals to ensure moisture is locked into the skin. With beneficial ingredients and notes of Lemon, Rosemary and Patchouli, the product will leave guys smelling great too.
As part of the launch of Lynx Ink, the brand has created a series of eye-catching films featuring tattoos and stories of attraction of real people.
From the owl with a fear of heights who ends up skydiving to impress a girl to a tiger lamenting the ‘jungle’ of dating in the smartphone era. Each film ends with the tattoo in the shower, being lathered up with LYNX’s Ink Shower Gel, designed to ‘bring tattoos to life’.
Lynx +Series is now available nationwide in Boots, ASDA and Morrisons.
