The Environmental Agency has imposed a record £3 million pound fine and also imposed compensation of £123m to all of Southern Waters, 4.2m customers. The £123m compensation package means that every customer will get £61 off their water bill. Southern Water repeatedly manipulated their tests on wastewater, meaning the standard of water we expect was far from perfect.
In response to this news water filter brand ZeroWater have offered all Southern Water customers a discounted water filter starter Kit bundle, with free delivery, which will ensure their water is the best quality possible removing over 99% of all dissolved solids.
The 7 cup / 1.7L Jug Bundle has five stages before releasing the filtered water. ZeroWater’s first layer of filtration, activated carbon and oxidation reduction alloy removes the chlorine taste you are accustomed to with tap water.

The Ion Exchange stage removes virtually all dissolved solids that may be leftover from public water systems or even leached into your water from piping such as Aluminium, Lead, Zinc, Nitrate and many more.
Three additional stages are included to remove and other contaminants to ensure tap water receives the appropriate amount of treatment time to deliver a “000” reading on the included laboratory-grade Total Dissolved Solids meter.
After trialling this out in two completely different locations with different water levels, we can confirm this water filter by ZeroWater works extremely well.
ZeroWater’s filtration system combines five sophisticated patented technologies working together to remove virtually all dissolved solids from your tap water, resulting in quality great tasting water.
These are the only pour-through filters on the market certified by the NSF to reduce lead and Chromium. ZeroWater filtration also reduces Fluoride from your water and other unwanted contaminants such as asbestos, plastics, pesticides, oestrogen, mercury and lead to name a few.
Included in the bundle is the ZeroWater ReadyPour 7 Cup / 1.7L Water Filter Jug, One initial filter, Free TDS Meter (Digital water quality meter) and Four Additional Replacement Filters. Those interested can claim the bundle here at a discount of £61, £13.98 on the RRP price.
The filter is that good, it even turns red wine into water, as shown on ITV.
